Are you an experienced leader in Facilities Management with a strong mechanical or electrical background? We are recruiting for a dynamic Contract Manager to oversee a high-profile, technically complex site in Birmingham.

About the Role:

As the Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of a multi-functional site that includes a Technical Events Centre and exhibition spaces. You'll lead and inspire a large, skilled team of 30+ engineers and support staff, ensuring all M&E systems, maintenance activities, and operational needs are delivered to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations across events, exhibitions, and building services
  • Manage and develop a team of 30 direct reports (engineers & support staff)
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
  • Drive performance across M&E and building maintenance systems
  • Lead on-site client relationships and contract performance
  • Deliver on KPIs, SLAs, and continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong background in Mechanical or Electrical engineering
  • Experience managing technical teams within a fast-paced, client-facing FM environment
  • Proven ability to lead large teams and maintain high service standards
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
