We are recruiting: Contract Management Officer

We’re looking for an experienced Contract Management Officer to join an authority in Leicestershire on an interim basis. This is an initial 4-week contract, with potential for extension.

The Role

• Responsible for carrying out annual contract reviews with providers to ensure services meet contract terms and deliver positive outcomes for children, young people, and their families.

About You

We’re seeking a highly skilled professional with:

• Confidence in using Word, Excel, and Outlook to analyze data, write reports, and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of commissioning practices and the commissioning cycle, with the ability to embed this into day-to-day practice.
• Ability to manage time well, meet deadlines, and handle several small projects simultaneously.
• Proven ability to problem-solve and constructively challenge existing customs and practices.
• A full understanding of desired outcomes to ensure meaningful activities for young people, respite for families/carers, care packages, and educational placements.
