Role and Responsibilities

Contract Maintenance Instructors Needed!!

CAE, the worldwide leader in aviation training, is seeking a UK or EU Based Contract Maintenance Training Instructor to join our Business Aviation Maintenance Training Team.

This position can be located anywhere in the UK or various countries across Europe and does require global travel.

If you are a Mechanic or Avionics Technician with experience servicing either Bombardier, Gulfstream, Dassault Falcon, helicopter, or other business aircraft, and are ready to take your career to a new level by becoming an Instructor, this role could be for you!

The Maintenance Training Instructor works as part of a team dedicated to providing aircraft maintenance training on products manufactured by the world's largest OEMs. Use extensive aviation maintenance experience, technical training experience, and varied computer skills (text & graphics) to develop, deliver, and maintain multi-media and computer-assisted courseware packages. This position is customer-facing and is focused on identifying and supporting customers’ needs and requests. Provides training to the customers at varied locations and manages and resolves a broad range of issues in an autonomous manner. Delivers aircraft system training in areas of expertise using a variety of instructional training aids in the classroom environment including the use of multimedia presentations (videos, slides, PowerPoint), aircraft components, and aircraft simulators.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  1. Proven experience working on Bombardier, Gulfstream, Dassault Falcon, helicopter, or other business aircraft is required.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in aerospace or equivalent work experience is required.
  3. Working knowledge of mechanical or avionics aircraft systems related to area of responsibility.
  4. Ability to resolve customer instructional issues autonomously.
  5. Working knowledge in a variety of basic computer software programs (Windows 2000 Suite, PowerPoint, MS Word) to develop, revise and deliver training material and presentations.

ADDITIONAL DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. A current aviation authority industry license (TC, EASA, UK, etc.) is preferred.
  2. Prior instructional experience is an asset but not required.
