Job summary

Omega Plc in Pontefract is seeking a Contract Maintenance Engineer for a temporary night shift role (10pm–6am) to support peak demand across manufacturing and logistics.

You will service, adjust and repair process and production machinery, carry out planned maintenance, and report on performance with overtime possible as demand requires.

Qualifications

• Experience as contract maintenance engineer or similar multi-skilled engineer.
• Able to work nights 10pm-6am.
• Location Pontefract/Ferrybridge area.

Responsibilities

• Service, adjust and repair process and production machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner. Examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements. Carry out planned and preventative maintenance to agreed schedules.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Candidates who are currently a Contract Electrical Engineer, Contract Electrical Shift Engineer, mechanical maintenance engineer, Contract Multi Skilled Shift Engineer, Electrical Maintenance, Maintenance Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer, machine tool maintenance , Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer, Fitter, Plant Engineer, Electrician and Electrical Engineer and any equivalent background will be suitable for the role.
