Job description

A great opportunity to join the team in Bicester.

Your Role

The Team Leader role is an essential part of operational functionality: leading the team, prioritising workload, making decisions, knowing when to escalate issues, and informing about non-compliance to mitigate risk.

Your Responsibilities
  • Manage daily tasks and set clear priorities.
  • Assign resources to workload and priorities.
  • Maintain shop floor presence with the ability to relocate employees as priorities change, demonstrating a dynamic approach with clear direction.
  • Carry out tasks including picking, packing, conditioning, service and repair, goods receipt, checking, loading & unloading vehicles.
  • Operate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and perform other assigned computer-based tasks.
  • Develop knowledge and skills on relevant IT systems.
  • Contribute actively to continuous improvement projects and ideas.
  • Operate according to trained work instructions, e.g., ABC Modules/WIs.
  • Adhere to company standards as detailed in the Code of Conduct Policy.
  • Comply with all Safe Working Practices, including reporting accidents and incidents.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Experience working towards targets.
  • Proficiency with PC and MHE license (where applicable).
  • Understanding of wider operational practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Confident in providing clear direction to the team.
  • Reliable and committed to team leadership.
