Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking a Design Estimator Contract Kitchens based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. The role involves designing and costing a manufactured range of contract kitchens sold into social housing, with 30% travel and time split between the office and the road.

You will read and interpret plans, ensure all designs and specs are technically correct, and develop presentations and documents for the sales team. Strong estimating and design experience in kitchens is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have estimating and design experience within the kitchen market sector.
• Familiar with Winner software and IT literacy (MS Office).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design Estimator creating designs and estimates/costing for contract kitchens.
• Read and interpret plans to prepare quotes for the sales team.
• Ensure designs/specifications are technically correct and notify when not possible.
• Produce company presentations and supporting documents with accurate info.
• Work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines; 30% travel to sites.
