Role: Junior Business Analyst

Domain: Banking; Treasury & Liquidity

Project: GenerativeAI to automate loans and lending documentation/processes

Day Rate: £400/d inside IR35

Location: London (hybrid)

Contract: 6 months (multi-year extension potential)

X4 Technology are partnered with a global banking client offering the opportunity for a Junior Business Analyst contractor to join a strategic innovation initiative focused on Generative AI solutions in the legal domain.

Operating within the bank's Treasury & Liquidity domain, the role will help leverage GenAI technologies to streamline and automate processes around loan and liquidity agreements, with strong emphasis on legal documentation and compliance.

The successful candidate will act as conduit between business and technology teams, helping define requirements, map processes and support the delivery of GenAI solutions in collaboration with treasury, liquidity, tech and innovation stakeholders.

Responsibilities of the Junior Business Analyst (GenAI)

• Gather and document requirements with legal, tech and product
• Support AI innovation through BA activities
• Map treasury & liquidity processes
• Identify AI automation opportunities
• Define and validate GenAI use cases
• Create business requirements, user stories and process flows
• Assist stakeholder communication and workshop preparation

Requirements for the Junior Business Analyst (GenAI)

• 1-3 years of BA experience in financial services
• Understanding of legal documentation related to loans, treasury, liquidity
• Exposure to emerging GenAI and related technologies
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proactive and self-sufficient in global, complex environments

The contract is for an initial 6 months with strong multi-year extenenion) scope (and potential perm too). The rate is £400/d inside IR35.
