About the Job:

We’re looking for a Contract Hire, Leasing, and Rental Manager based in the UK. This customer-facing role will be responsible for managing key relationships with major Leasing Companies for our ‘all new electric vehicle range’. The successful candidate will work closely with the ‘agent network’ corporate teams and potential end user B2B customers, developing bespoke bulk opportunities across the territory.

Your Responsibilities:

Contract Hire (Leasing) Relationship Management (80%)

  • Manage relationships with dedicated major Lease Co’s to maximize end-user opportunities.
  • Form relationships with key stakeholders within these Lease Co’s, including Asset risk teams, Remarketing Managers, Senior Sales Account Directors, National Sales Managers & Field Managers.
  • Develop sales channels with Lease Co’s, increasing volumes of smart products within their portfolios (e.g., Leasing Brokers, Salary Sacrifice, Public sector).
  • Utilize industry tools (CAP Insight report) to develop RV & SMR positions within each Lease Co.
  • Be accountable for the overall performance of each Lease Co in terms of Volume, RV & SMR.
  • Engage with major Rental or Lease Co’s to secure bulk volumes when required.

Remarketing (End of lease) (20%)

  • Lead discussions with funding partners to maximize disposal of end-of-lease vehicles through the smart network, focusing on high retention.
  • Establish remarketing platforms for end-of-lease vehicles from other leasing companies to be retained within the smart network.
  • Work with the UK Fleet Sales Manager to develop a remarketing strategy and approach lease companies during sales negotiations.
  • Ensure high uptake of the remarketing platform versus broader auction disposal channels.

What you bring:

  • Degree level education (preferably in a commercial or technical field) and/or extensive relevant experience.
  • Significant experience in the automotive industry, especially in Contract Hire & Leasing sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the leasing market and end-of-life remarketing processes.
  • Experience in residual value management within Lease companies.
  • Proficiency with car valuation tools (e.g., Futures, Black Book).
  • Ability to engage with corporate retailers and inspire confidence.
  • Good awareness of developments in leasing and fleet markets.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proactive stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across diverse environments.
