Job Description:

MWH Treatment is seeking a project-based Health & Safety Advisor to join their SHEQ team for the Severn Trent framework, based on the Witches Oak project in the Severn Trent region. The role involves managing daily H&S duties and contributing to the regional safety strategy.

You will report directly to the Health and Safety Manager. Responsibilities include:

• Supporting project compliance with health and safety legislation and HSE guidance.
• Conducting audits and inspections of construction sites for legislative and management system compliance.
• Monitoring resolution of health and safety issues.
• Investigating accidents and incidents for root causes and lessons learned.
• Assisting with risk assessments and control measures.
• Maintaining safety documentation, manuals, procedures, and forms.
• Engaging with clients, HSE inspectors, and external assessors.
• Building strong stakeholder relationships.
• Fostering a positive health and safety culture within the project team.
