Job summary

Eleven is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial control for a major energy infrastructure project in the West Midlands. This 6-month contract role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and variance analysis to drive cost efficiency.

You will prepare monthly reports, close packs, and MI, while coordinating with suppliers, project teams and management to monitor WIP, VAT and payment terms, ensuring compliance and timely decision making.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, closing packs and management information.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, supplier/subcontractor payments and reconciliations.
• Manage project cash flow, treasury, collections and payment forecasting.
• Review contractual payment terms, bonds, guarantees and insurance requirements.
• Support month-end close, WIP calculations and project cost reporting.
• Reconcile project costs with accounting and cost-control records.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, CIS, PAYE and pension requirements.
• Work closely with suppliers, subcontractors, commercial teams and project management.
• Identify financial risks, opportunities and areas for improved cost control
