We are recruiting for a fast-paced multi-site manufacturer in FMCG manufacturing and packaging. We are looking for a talented and qualified individual with an electrical bias who is a great problem solver with continuous improvement ideas, to thrive in a proactive electrical front-line maintenance role.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, adjust, and repair process and production machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner.
• Examine machinery and equipment, report on condition and performance, and plan improvements.
• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance to scheduled plans.
• Work as part of a team to keep the site running to World Class Standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical Engineering or similar manufacturing qualification.
• Equivalent qualification in electrical or mechanical fields, preferably with a manufacturing background.
• Technical experience as a competent electrical engineering professional. Ability to solve problems, PLC/automation experience is a plus, and produce safe systems of work.
• Capable of contributing to the development, manufacture, commissioning, decommissioning, operation, or maintenance of products, equipment, processes, or services.
• This is an all-round hands-on electrical maintenance role, including conveyors and processing end-of-line packing.
• Extensive planned maintenance tasks and organization of the engineering plant are essential.
