• Pay Range: Up to £ p/h rotating shifts, Days or Nights
• Contract Duration: 3 months ongoing
• Working Patterns: 12 Hour Shifts

About the Role:

We are recruiting for a fast-paced multi-site manufacturer, a world-leading FMCG business with a 100-year history, seeking an Electrical bias / competent contract shift engineer for ad-hoc shift cover, days and nights.

We are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer who will thrive in a proactive electrical bias front-line maintenance role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, adjust, and repair process and production machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner.
• Examine machinery and equipment, report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements.
• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance to scheduled plans.
• Work as part of a team to keep the site running to World Class Standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical Engineering or similar manufacturing qualification.
• Equivalent qualifications in electrical or mechanical fields, preferably with manufacturing experience.
• Technical experience as a competent electrical engineering professional.
• Problem-solving skills, PLC/automation experience, and ability to produce safe systems of work.
• Hands-on maintenance electrical role experience, including conveyors and processing end-of-line packing.
• Extensive planned maintenance tasks and organizational skills for engineering plant management.
