Ecommerce Catalogue Operations Coordinator - Contract (Until January 2026)
Location: Hybrid - ideally 3 days/week in Covent Garden office
Day Rate: £130/day (Inside IR35) - approx. £2,020 monthly net take-home after tax and NI
Contract Length: ASAP - 31st January 2026
Experience Level: 6-12 months' experience or relevant ecommerce internship/traineeship
Overview:
A well-known international retail brand is hiring a junior Ecommerce Catalogue Operations Coordinator to support the setup and maintenance of a new online product catalogue during a key expansion phase. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their ecommerce career to gain hands-on experience with a major player in digital retail.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the setup and maintenance of a new online catalogue supporting a new UK distribution centre
Support weekly newness drops on-site, including categorisation, badging, and QA checks
Ensure product descriptions are translated correctly across all required languages
Maintain markdown pricebooks and sale category inclusion; support sale launches
Regularly update documentation to provide visibility on stock availability for homepage features and email campaigns
Contribute to weekly reporting tasks for the Catalogue Operations team
Action ad hoc fixes and assist with ongoing QA to ensure catalogue accuracy
What We're Looking For:
6-12 months' experience in an ecommerce/digital role OR a relevant internship or traineeship
Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
Proactive, solution-focused mindset
Good communication and a collaborative attitude
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the wider MS Office suite
Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud or similar ecommerce platforms is highly desirable
Retail experience or product/merchandising background is a plus
