To organise and supervise the unit according to the standards required by Compass Group UK & Ireland, the contract specification, and statutory regulations. Responsible for the effective management of the unit, ensuring quality service, and overseeing food preparation, cooking, and service to standards. Manage resources efficiently, including stock, team members, and assets.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing strategic guidance and managing the team
• Motivating and directing management and catering staff daily
• Taking responsibility for food and health & safety procedures
• Promoting the unit and acting as a Compass Advocate
• Managing internal and external stakeholders
• Ensuring high standards of client hospitality and seeking feedback
• Identifying opportunities for service enhancement and innovation
• Operating within budget, monitoring trends, and implementing corrective actions
• Meeting customer expectations
