As a Data Governance & Controls Lead, you'll play a key role in establishing and embedding a repeatable data risk and controls process across a priority area of the organisation's data estate.
You'll be responsible for identifying and prioritising data risks and control gaps, establishing issue and remediation processes, assigning accountable owners, and driving actions through to evidenced closure. You'll also establish recurring control checks, reporting and governance routines before handing the process over for wider adoption.
You will be an experienced Data Governance, Data Controls, or Data Risk professional with a strong background in regulated or financial services environments. You'll have hands-on experience establishing control processes, managing data issues and remediation, and working with senior stakeholders to secure accountability and drive actions through to closure.
