Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking a CMM Programmer/Inspector for a 3-month contract based near Northampton. The role is outside IR35 with an early shift and ASAP start.

You will inspect first-off components using handheld and CMM techniques, set up CMM machinery with PC-DMIS, and use Catia/Romer Arm as needed. The ideal candidate has experience programming and operating CMMs with PC-DMIS.

Qualifications

• Experience programming and operating CMMs with PC-DMIS controls.
• Proficient in first-off inspection of manufactured components.
• Familiar with Catia, Romer Arm and manual inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

• First-off inspection of manufactured components using handheld and CMM techniques.
• Set up and operate CMM machinery using PC-DMIS software.
• Use documents to identify correct inspection tools and techniques.
• Raise and process NCRs as part of quality processes.

CMM Programmer/Inspector

The CMM Inspector will have the following responsibilities:

• First-Off inspection of manufactured components using both handheld and CMM techniques
• Setting and operating CMM machinery using PCDMIS software
• Using relevant documents to establish correct inspection tools and techniques to confirm product verification. This could include using Catia, PCDMIS, CMM Programming, Romer Arm and manual techniques)
• Raise and process NCR’s

The CMM Inspector will require the following experience:
