Qualifications

Location: Bletchley, LU6 8DL

Salary: To £45K + car allowance + bonus. per year

Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment? Love trains? We’re looking for a Contract Cleaning Manager to take charge of our overnight cleaning operations – making sure train carriages are spotless, inside and out, before they hit the tracks each morning.

This is your chance to manage one of the most important behind-the-scenes teams in rail – helping ensure safety, hygiene, and a fantastic passenger experience every day.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Leading and motivating a dedicated night cleaning team

Overseeing the internal and external cleaning of train carriages to strict deadlines and standards

Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and hygiene standards – every time

Managing schedules, rosters, audits, and inventory

Acting as the on-site liaison with railway partners and reporting to senior operations

Responding to challenges quickly and keeping things running smoothly through the night

What We’re Looking For:

Experience managing cleaning teams – ideally in transport, industrial or high-standard environments

Night shift experience and a cool head under pressure

Strong leadership, planning, and people management skills

Knowledge of COSHH, health & safety, and compliance requirements

Rail/transport cleaning experience? That’s a huge plus!
