Job summary

Scantec seeks a Contract CAD Draughtsman to join an established electrical engineering team in Hawarden, Flintshire. You will produce, update and maintain technical drawings using AutoCAD for EC&I projects, working with Lead Engineers to ensure accuracy and project compliance.

Based full-time at the client’s Hawarden office, the role involves interpreting engineering sketches, applying design changes and delivering drawings to schedule while maintaining high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience producing technical drawings in an engineering environment.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, layouts and installation drawings desired.
• Ability to interpret engineering sketches and technical information.

Responsibilities

• Produce, update and maintain drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare electrical and EC&I design drawings per project requirements.
• Maintain drawing accuracy and comply with project standards.
• Liaise with engineers to reflect design intent in drawings.
• Manage deliverables to meet project deadlines.
