Job summary

TLT LLP is seeking an experienced Business Development Consultant to provide strategic and hands-on support across designated sectors, service lines and client groups. The role is a 6-month contract with a competitive day rate via Umbrella, based in Bristol, Manchester or Birmingham with hybrid working and travel to other offices as required.

• Significant business development experience within a law firm or professional services.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of compelling proposals, bids and pitches.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities.
• Develop and manage pipelines of target clients and opportunities.
• Use CRM data to manage opportunities and activities.
• Support development of new products and services.
• Build relationships with client contacts, prospective clients and intermediaries.
• Develop BD plans aligned with sector and service-line strategies.
• Translate priorities into measurable activity.
• Support partners in developing priority client relationships.
• Contribute to client account plans, panels and frameworks.
• Analyse client and market information to identify opportunities.
• Monitor progress, budgets and ROI.
• Develop targeted campaigns to generate leads and support conversions.
• Raise TLT’s profile through events, webinars, media and thought leadership.
• Produce marketing materials and stakeholder presentations.
• Support directory submissions and award entries.
• Provide updates on activity, opportunities and outcomes.
• Deliver workstreams independently with limited supervision.
