Job summary

Price Personnel is seeking an experienced Passive Fire Contracts & Commercial Manager in Kent to own contracts from award through completion, ensuring safety, compliance, on-schedule delivery and profitability.

You will manage client and main contractor relationships, coordinate labour and materials, and oversee commercial performance across multiple projects with a hands-on, results-driven approach.

• Strong commercial/quantity surveying experience.
• Understanding of passive fire systems and compliance.
• Experience managing subcontractors, site teams and multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage passive fire contracts from award to final account.
• Review contracts, specifications, drawings, scope and programmes.

• Manage valuations, variations, applications for payment and final accounts.
• Monitor costs, margins, productivity and programme performance.
• Manage client and main contractor relationships.
• Oversee QA, certification, fire-stopping records and handover.

Passive Fire Contracts & Commercial Manager

£55,000–£60,000 + Benefits | Kent

A hands-on role combining contract delivery, commercial management and passive fire expertise.

We’re looking for an experienced Passive Fire Contracts & Commercial Manager to take ownership of projects from contract award through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, compliantly, on programme and profitably.

You’ll manage multiple contracts, acting as the key link between clients, main contractors, site teams and subcontractors, while also taking responsibility for the commercial performance of your projects.

The Role

• Managing passive fire contracts from award to final account
• Reviewing contracts, specifications, drawings, scope and programmes
• Coordinating labour, materials, subcontractors and site delivery
• Managing valuations, variations, applications for payment and final accounts
• Monitoring costs, margins, productivity and programme performance
• Managing client and main contractor relationships
• Overseeing QA, certification, fire-stopping records and handover
• Ensuring works comply with relevant passive fire standards and approved systems
• Managing and resolving project risks, defects and commercial issues
• Leading supervisors, operatives and subcontractors
