Job description

Due to the growth of the business, our Property and Asset Management team is looking for a Contract Administrator to join us in London. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a confident, motivated, and efficient individual to become a key team member, delivering high standards of service. You will provide Carter Jonas with an efficient and effective centralised service to maximise success with tenders, gain a competitive advantage, and meet client-specific KPIs.

The main focus of this role is data analysis, manipulation, and extraction. The post holder will be part of a dynamic team of professionals, including administrators, surveyors, and partners. Our HQ at London Chapel Place hosts over 100 professionals across main divisions, with various office social, health & wellbeing, and fundraising activities.

Main tasks:
  • Analyzing WIP figures from Business Central, working with large data sets, manipulating, formatting, and filtering information.
  • Processing client invoices and tracking them.
  • Liaising with clients, job managers, and credit control to manage bad debts.
  • Supporting the team in streamlining processes and reporting.
  • Reporting weekly/monthly to team meetings.
  • Cross-charging and consultant breakdown reporting.
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships for smooth accounting.
  • Liaising with internal teams regarding billing.
  • Working closely with the Finance department.
  • Processing expenses and assisting with monthly/quarterly/annual reporting.
What will it take to be successful?

You need strong IT skills with advanced Excel knowledge (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting). Experience in a busy finance environment involving large data analysis, invoicing, credit control, and purchase orders is advantageous. You must be an excellent communicator, capable of managing client relationships, working in a busy environment, multitasking, and working under pressure. Confidence, confidentiality, professionalism, and a desire to learn are essential.

Hours and Location:

Full-time, Permanent, London Chapel Place.
