Confidential is recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy finance team on an 11-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension.

This role suits someone with purchase ledger or accounts payable experience who wants to develop their skills within a supportive finance environment.

Key tasks include supplier reconciliations, processing invoices and proforma payments, bank reconciliations, and supporting the wider Purchase Ledger team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.
• Available on short or immediate notice.
• Ability to commute to Eastbourne on a daily basis.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Completing supplier statement reconciliations and investigating discrepancies.
• Processing proforma payments accurately and efficiently.
• Managing queries
• Creating new supplier accounts
• Supporting the wider Purchase Ledger team with day-to-day finance administration.
• Bank reconciliations
• Processing and uploading invoices
• Ensuring financial records are accurate and kept up to date.
