A vacancy has arisen at the Aberdeen site for a Continuous Improvement Specialist within the busy operational facility serving the oil industry. Working as part of the Operations team and reporting to the Aberdeen Site Manager, the job involves maintaining and reviewing site KPI's, driving sustainability initiatives, product costing and managing continuous improvement projects.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage site services.
  2. Process indirect purchases for Aberdeen and Africa sites.
  3. Create costing modules for existing and new products.
  4. Keep costing sheet up to date.
  5. Assist in costing modules for tenders.
  6. Make sure deadlines for price requests are met from all departments.
  7. Process and approve invoices.
  8. Set up new vendor in SAP.
  9. Record and report sustainability KPI’s.
  10. Assist in improvement projects.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Administration.
  2. Ability to work in a demanding and varied environment.
  3. Good organization of working time and independence in action.
  4. Ability to analyse complex data, carry out root cause analysis and present in a legible manner.
  5. Ability to cope with challenges and prioritize tasks.
  6. Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel.
  7. Experience in using Microsoft Project would be an advantage.
  8. Ability to communicate and liaise with numerous departments.
