Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement/Project Manager to support the development of a great engineering department in the Malton area and lead key improvement initiatives. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering the capital investment programme, driving efficiencies, and reducing plant downtime.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver engineering projects to budget and time-scales.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across plant, processes, and machinery.
• Liaise with production, operations, engineering and technical teams to improve performance and efficiency.
• Ensure all compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and engineering standards.
• Maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Support the training and development of the engineering team.

• Strong engineering background, with a recognised qualification and the ability to be hands on and desk based.
• Experience in managing engineering projects and continuous improvement programmes.
