Job summary

Saica Group's Warrenpoint site seeks a Continuous Improvement Manager to drive culture change through Saica ECO programmes, supporting safety, quality and service. You will lead data–driven improvements across production, guide audits, and sustain Lean / TQM initiatives while training teams in best practices.

The role reports to the Plant Manager and requires coordinating cross‑functional improvement plans, mentoring staff, and communicating a clear strategic vision for operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of comparable experience.
• Experience delivering business improvement programmes e.g. lean, six sigma.
• 3rd level qualification in Business or Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates organisational wide efforts to ensure that business improvement programmes are developed and managed using a data-driven focus that sets priorities on improvement without compromising on safety or service.
• Develops and communicates the strategic vision, scope and mission of the business improvement program and ensures business improvement initiatives are focused and aligned on improving operational effectiveness.
• Co-ordinate and provide support for the application of work methods (definition, implementation and carrying out of audits).
• Co-ordinate the development of the continuous improvement processes within production.
• Implement, encourage and sustain the group management system in the production area (TQM and Lean).
• Co-ordinate the development of existing and new continuous improvement plans.
• Training of employees in all aspects related to continuous improvement.
• Problem solving and reporting.

(TQM and Lean)•Co-ordinate the development of existing and new continuous improvement plans.•Use continuous improvement tools to solve process issues and imbalances.
