Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5.00pm (Flexibility Needed)

Location: Lincolnshire, United Kingdom

This is a brand-new position within one of the UK’s most prominent food manufacturing organisations. The company has already significantly invested into its continuous improvement journey and this site in Lincolnshire has received significant investment in the form of a brand new, world-class operational excellence programme that has been designed specifically for F&B manufacturing facilities. This programme has already resulted in huge uplifts in productivity and OEE but also dramatically reduced areas of waste. Yet technology alone won’t change the game and this is where we need you!

Oliver Carol Recruitment have been briefed on a CI Manager/ Operational Excellence Manager position that will see you becoming the champion of all things CI within the site, the go to colleague for both senior leadership and operatives.

Your office will be the factory floor where you’ll constantly analyse production, monitor waste, and gather performance data to prioritise, plan and action process improvements. You will do this by engaging and empowering line operatives and giving them the opportunity, power, and voice to report and solve issues in real time. Your greatest challenge in this role will be to influence at all levels to instil a truly brand-new CI culture, but you will relish that opportunity because you will be a natural people person who loves seeing others flourish in their roles.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has experience within the fast-paced atmosphere of a food or FMCG manufacturing facility, and you will also have a good understanding, experience and certifications within CI tools, techniques and training. A yellow below or above in Lean Six Sigma is useful but not essential.
