Roles and Responsibilities

1. Coach the business to understand the impact of minimum standards on performance metrics (SQCDP) and how to use them effectively.
2. Ensure understanding of production system maturity and pathways for improvement.
3. Maintain and coach the team on Improvement standards.
4. Lead the development and execution of the Improvement Programme.
5. Focus on performance improvement and strategy delivery.
6. Lead strategic reviews and governance sessions related to business improvement.
7. Utilize improvement and problem-solving tools to deliver critical projects and enhance business performance.
8. Drive the organization towards becoming a Lean Organization.
9. Demonstrate Lean Leadership behaviors, coach others, and support Lean strategies using Lean/Sigma tools to reduce waste.
10. Manage improvement reviews and governance to coordinate business improvement efforts.
11. Facilitate Kaizen events, problem resolution, and other improvement activities.
12. Coach project sponsors, Green Belts, Yellow Belts, and business leaders.

Requirements

• Experience in a fast-paced, results-driven manufacturing environment.
• Lean Sigma Black Belt accreditation or working towards it.
• Minimum degree level education or equivalent experience.
• Proven success in delivering improvement projects related to customer satisfaction and P&L.
• Ability to influence team members and management to improve processes.
• Data-driven improvement skills and tools.
• Knowledge of Lean improvement methods and tools, including value stream mapping, SQCDP, OEE, throughput, SOPs, 5S, 6S, visual management, 5 Whys, 8D, DMAIC, PFMEA.
