We’re searching for a top-tier professional to join our team as the head of Continuous Improvement who will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing strategic initiatives to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the Rolling Stock Customer Service business. This role focuses on identifying, developing, and executing strategies to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

You'll make an impact by:
  1. Championing operational excellence by implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
  2. Pioneering and implementing a cutting-edge continuous improvement strategy aligned with Rolling Stock Customer Service goals.
  3. Leading and growing a team of continuous improvement professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and breakthrough innovation.
  4. Driving and owning transformative continuous improvement initiatives to successful completion.
  5. Identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
  6. Harnessing lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to revolutionize processes.
  7. Collaborating creatively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  8. Monitoring and communicating progress to senior management with insightful, impactful updates.
  9. Designing and delivering forward-thinking training programs to elevate continuous improvement skills.
  10. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  11. Nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization.
You'll win us over by:
  1. Degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
  2. Significant experience in continuous improvement within manufacturing or engineering.
  3. Proven success in leading change within a complex matrix organization.
  4. Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  5. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  6. Ability to influence at all levels and work cross-functionally.
  7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  8. Certification in Six Sigma (Black Belt or Master Black Belt) is highly desirable.
  9. Experience in a Rolling Stock Environment is advantageous.
