Job summary

Safran Seats in Wales seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer to support industrial areas and customers in operational excellence. You will champion Lean and Six Sigma methods, lead CI projects and promote standardisation across the site within a global aerospace group.

You will plan, coordinate and monitor CI initiatives, ensure governance and deliver reliable results, while focusing on sustainability and continuous learning through Safran University and development programs.

Qualifications

• Proven understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and CI methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping)
• Experience with project management frameworks and governance
• Knowledge of root cause analysis, problem solving and change management
• Hands-on experience delivering CI projects at plant or business-unit level
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred

Responsibilities

• Champion the implementation of One Safran standards across all improvement initiatives
• Promote best practices and standardisation of project management
• Develop and manage project plans with clear objectives, timelines and deliverables
• Monitor milestones and ensure timely delivery of results
• Provide governance updates and KPI dashboards to leadership
• Ensure Operational Excellence activities align with environmental sustainability goals
