Role Function

The Continuous Improvement Engineer will be instrumental in enhancing and maintaining manufacturing processes to ensure safety, efficiency, and consistency. Responsibilities include implementing new systems, supporting product launches, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Continuous Improvement Engineer role or similar
  • Experience in pressing, sheet metal, or fabrication environments is advantageous
  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • Can-do attitude, flexibility, and adaptability
  • Solid understanding of Lean tools and ISO 9001 standards
  • Proficiency with CAD and reading technical drawings
  • Strong planning, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve safe, efficient production processes
  • Identify and mitigate workplace risks, supporting health and safety culture
  • Lead and support projects to reduce waste, increase output, and improve delivery
  • Apply lean tools to solve problems and enhance efficiency
  • Create layouts, workflows, and SOPs
  • Support process and design changes
  • Assist in bringing new products into production
  • Enhance quality control and process consistency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
