Overview
What you'll be doing and how you'll contribute to TMP's sales performance: providing extraordinary customer service, offering the best possible advice, and ensuring fair and transparent outcomes for clients. This is a remote working position.
Responsibilities
- Developing our business growth strategy with the Sales Manager and Managing Director to increase business volume and provide clients and introducers with extraordinary service
- Looking after service level agreements with introducers - related to turnaround times for contacting clients or other specific requirements
- Recording all activity on our CRM system, including client contact, sales made and actions taken
- Managing all planned and actual client appointments via the Outlook diary / CRM system
- Conducting client financial and affordability assessments on behalf of our Housing Association Introducers
- Identifying customer needs and wants through a professional and supportive full fact find
- Advising on and selling the mortgage products available, ensuring those suggested are the best for the client's individual circumstances
- Offering advice on available protection products to ensure clients are fully protected in the event of death, critical illness and sickness
- Aiding business development efforts by finding alternative ways to sell TMP's services to clients who already have allegiance to competitors
- Working with the Client Account Management team to oversee and follow up on post sign-up work
- Producing a weekly activity and production report for Sales Manager (measuring performance against targets, completion ratios and KPIs)
- Representing TMP at site open days, roadshows and events (including weekend events)
- Participating in a weekend rota to provide telephone and on-site cover for Introducers
- Ensuring understanding of regulatory responsibilities (e.g., treating customers fairly) and encouraging others to act accordingly
Qualifications
- Someone who is ambitious, enthusiastic and loves to work as part of a team
- Great communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to speak confidently on the telephone
- Computer literacy - full training will be given on our specialist software
- A self-starter who is well organized and able to prioritise their own workload
- Good numeracy and literacy skills; accuracy is important
- Previous experience within a similar role
- A full CeMAP qualification
- Because you'll be working from home the majority of the time, you'll need a reliable, fast broadband connection. We may also ask that you travel to our Head Office in Kettering from time to time.
