Contentious Probate Solicitor – This is an excellent opportunity to join a large top-tier practice with an excellent reputation. This contentious trusts and probate team is ranked Tier 3 in the Legal 500 and has a great wealth of experience, with certain individuals having STEP and ACTAPS qualifications. They are now looking to expand the dispute resolution team with a further Contentious Probate Solicitor at a junior level.

About the Role
The majority of their contentious trusts and probate work is for individual clients and is sourced from professional referrals, existing clients, and other departments within the company. You will be assisting the team on larger disputes relating to estates and trusts, as well as managing smaller disputes on a day-to-day basis. The team’s disputes typically concern the validity of wills, claims under the Inheritance Act 1975, proprietary estoppel/constructive trust cases, and disputes with executors, trustees, beneficiaries, and where they are asked to act for executors, trustees, beneficiaries, or for other family members who have not been adequately provided for under a will or a trust.

Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a NQ-2 year PQE Solicitor with relevant experience in Trust and Probate litigation. They are interested in talking to energetic and keen individuals with good computer literacy, excellent standard of client care, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
