Position: Contentious Probate Solicitor

Location:

Salary:

£55,000 - £65,000

Overview:

Requirements:

1. Training and experience in a reputable team, preferably with a Top 200 background. The firm is flexible and also considers candidates from Legal 500 and large regional firms known for high-quality complex work.
2. Experience working under specialist partners and senior associates in inheritance tax planning, reliefs, allowances, and laws related to will planning for assets in the UK and abroad.
3. Experience with Private Client matters affecting landowners and farmers, including wills, lifetime gifting for inheritance tax mitigation, powers of attorney, and Court of Protection cases.
4. Ability to handle estate administration, especially for complex cases with cross-border issues, farming estates, and businesses. Collaboration with personal representatives, accountants, and land agents is essential for accurate HMRC Inheritance Tax Account completion.
5. Applicants should be willing to relocate to Swindon/Wiltshire or demonstrate a commitment to live and work in the area.
