Salary: Up to £60,000
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (initial on-site expectation)

A new opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor with circa 3 years’ PQE to join a dynamic and growing team. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of your caseload and play a key role in the department’s future growth. The role will involve:
Handling a varied caseload of contentious probate matters, including claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975
Advising clients on Will validity, testamentary capacity, estate administration disputes, and executor conduct
Drafting and reviewing Wills, LPAs, trust documentation, and probate correspondence
Supporting wider private client work including estate administration, tax planning, and trust formation
Participating in business development, marketing, article writing, and networking initiatives
To be successful in this role, you will:
Be a qualified Solicitor with circa 3 years’ PQE in contentious probate and private client law
Demonstrate experience in inheritance disputes, IPFDA claims, and estate-related litigation
Show strong technical knowledge in estate planning, inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and trust law
Have experience with Court of Protection matters and lasting powers of attorney
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be confident managing your own caseload and contributing to team development
STEP or SFE qualification would be advantageous but is not essential
