Job summary

Sellick Partnership is recruiting a Contentious Probate Paralegal in Farnborough. You will support a specialist disputes team handling will validity disputes, inheritance Act claims and executor/trustee disputes with mentoring and clear career progression.

You’ll draft documents, liaise with clients and third parties, and assist with court applications and trial prep. A Law degree (LLB) or equivalent is preferred and prior probate or dispute resolution experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience in contentious probate, litigation or dispute resolution.
• A Law degree (LLB) or equivalent qualification.
• Strong organisational, communication and client care skills.
• Proactive with ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support on a broad range of contentious probate matters, including will validity disputes and inheritance disputes.
• Assist with drafting legal documents and correspondence.
• Liaise with clients, counsel and third parties to progress matters from inception to resolution.
• Prepare for court applications, disclosure and document management.

We're working with a highly regarded regional law firm looking to expand its growing Contentious Probate team with the appointment of an ambitious Paralegal. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist disputes team acting on a broad range of contentious probate, trust and inheritance matters. Working alongside experienced lawyers, you'll gain hands‑on exposure to complex, high‑quality work while benefiting from excellent mentoring and long‑term career development.

You will support on a wide range of matters, including:

• Will validity disputes
• Inheritance Act claims
• Executor and trustee disputes
• Trust and estate litigation
• Court applications and procedural matters
• Trial preparation, disclosure and document management

You'll also assist with drafting legal documents and correspondence, liaise with clients, counsel and third parties, and play an active role in progressing matters from inception through to resolution.
