Job description

Our client, a prestigious international law firm is seeking a Senior Contentious Construction Litigation Solicitor to join their highly regarded team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role has arisen to cover parental leave, and is starting ASAP.

The Role

As part of a market-leading contentious construction team, you will work on a broad range of disputes for major international clients, including:

  • Defective fire safety claims on large-scale residential developments
  • High-value arbitration claims involving cross-border project delays and disruptions
  • ICC arbitrations for renewable energy projects
  • EPC contract disputes and power plant-related matters

Ideal candidates will have:

  • 5+ years’ PQE in contentious construction litigation ideally gained at a top-tier Legal 500 or Chambers-ranked firm, with a strong track record in complex construction disputes.
  • Experience in international arbitration and adjudication would be a distinct advantage.
  • A background in a highly regarded construction disputes practice
  • Strong technical expertise and the ability to manage complex, multi-jurisdictional matters
  • Excellent client management and communication skills
  • Individuals qualified in common law jurisdictions are welcome to apply as long as they are eligible to work in the UK as the firm is unable to offer sponsorship.
