Job summary

Themis Recruit is representing a leading global law firm seeking a Contentious Construction Solicitor (2-4 PQE) to join their renowned Construction Disputes team. You will advise on large-scale, multi-jurisdictional disputes across infrastructure, energy and real estate sectors, handling claims related to delay, defects and breach of contract.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 2-4 years PQE in contentious construction law.
• Experience at a leading law firm, ideally Magic Circle, Silver Circle or US firm.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage and advise clients on contentious construction matters, including disputes related to contracts, defects and delays.
• Represent clients in arbitration, litigation and adjudication proceedings.
• Draft and review pleadings, settlement agreements and client correspondence.
• Provide strategic risk mitigation advice for complex construction projects.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues and clients to develop case strategies and drive timely resolutions.
• Work with UK and international clients in construction, engineering, infrastructure, energy and real estate sectors.
• Contribute to business development and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
