North Star Network (NSN), a global sports and betting media group, is hiring a Content Writer (UK) to create engaging, SEO-optimised content for the UK market across sports betting and online casino topics. You will test bookmaker and casino accounts, review experiences, and deliver first‑hand insights with accuracy.

Collaborate with Managers, Editors and SEO specialists to ensure reader value and commercial alignment while working remotely within an international team.

Qualifications

• Native English speaker with UK writing experience.
• Experience writing about sports betting or iGaming.
• Strong SEO knowledge and content optimization.
• Excellent research and attention to detail.
• Ability to simplify complex topics for readers.
• Familiarity with UK bookmakers and gambling terminology.
• Experience with WordPress or other CMS.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality, original articles covering sports betting, online casinos, bookmakers, casino games, bonuses, and gambling topics.
• Produce content based on detailed editorial briefs while following SEO practices.

About The Role

As a Content Writer (UK), you will create engaging, accurate, and SEO-optimized content for the UK market across sports betting and online casino websites.

This role requires hands‑on experience. As part of your work, you will be expected to create accounts with UK bookmakers and online casinos, test their desktop and mobile experiences, and produce accurate, first‑hand reviews based on your findings.

Working closely with our Content Managers, Editors, and SEO Specialists, you will produce content that not only ranks well in search engines but also provides genuine value to readers while supporting our commercial objectives.

This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for sports, betting, casino, and digital content, with a strong understanding of the UK market.

What We’re Looking For

• Native English speaker (UK) or exceptional written English with experience writing for a UK audience.
• Previous experience writing about sports betting, online casinos, or the iGaming industry is essential.
• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and content optimization.
• Excellent research skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to simplify complex topics into engaging and reader-friendly content.
• Familiarity with UK bookmakers, casino operators, promotions, and gambling terminology.
• Experience using WordPress or other CMS platforms.
• Knowledge of SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Surfer SEO is a plus.
• Comfortable working remotely within an international team.
• You must be based in the UK to be able to access and test UK-licensed betting operators.
• You are comfortable creating bookmaker and casino accounts, placing test bets or deposits where required, and reviewing the overall customer experience across desktop and mobile platforms.
