Job Title: Content Writer and Translator - French

Location: London – Hybrid

The Role:
Focused on EN>FR translation and transcreation, with some proofreading, writing, and editing in French. Candidates should be creative, detail-oriented, proactive, and ideally have a background in translation, linguistics, journalism, or related fields. Reporting to the Content Team Manager, working with a team of 10 writers and translators.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Translating content from English to French: promotions, emails, newsletters, terms & conditions, etc.
• Transcreating SEO content and social media copy for casino and sports betting products
• Translating new content for client websites
• Proofreading, editing, and updating existing content for client websites

Person Specifications:

• French as a first language and fluency in English (essential)
• Excellent writing skills and impeccable grammar (essential)
• Experience in translation and/or localisation (essential)
• Good organisational skills (essential)
• Degree in foreign languages/translation/journalism/creative writing (desirable)
• Understanding of marketing techniques (desirable)
• Experience in the gaming industry (desirable)
• Basic HTML knowledge (advantage)
• Knowledge of translation software (advantage)
• Hybrid working: 2 days remote, 3 days in-office
• Work from abroad up to 4 weeks/year
