The Role:

Responsible for EN>FR translation and transcreation tasks, including proofreading, writing, and editing French content. The candidate should be creative, detail-oriented, proactive, and ideally have a background in translation, linguistics, journalism, or related fields. Reporting to the Content Team Manager, working with a team of 10 writers and translators.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Translate content from English to French: promotions, emails, newsletters, terms & conditions, etc.
• Transcreate SEO content and social media copy for casino and sports betting products
• Translate new content for clients’ websites
• Proofread, edit, and update existing website content

Person Specifications:

• French as a first language and fluency in English (essential)
• Excellent writing skills and impeccable grammar (essential)
• Experience in translation and/or localisation (essential)
• Good organizational skills (essential)
• Degree in foreign languages/translation/journalism/creative writing (desirable)
• Understanding of marketing techniques (desirable)
• Experience in the gaming industry (desirable)
• Basic knowledge of HTML (advantage)
• Knowledge of translation software (advantage)
