At Compare the Market our purpose is to make great financial decision-making a breeze for everyone. We’re looking for a new writer who wants to help us make it simple to switch and save money through exceptional content and seamless journeys.

As Content Writer , you'll use your combination of personal finance knowledge and content expertise to pitch, create, optimise and update articles on everything from insurance and loans to mortgages and credit cards , with the ultimate goal of empowering users to make savvy financial decisions.

Some great things you’ll be doing:

• Creating compelling, accurate content: use your understanding of personal finance to pitch and write advice guides that align with our mission and resonate with our audiences.

• Keeping our guides fresh and up to date: monitor the external landscape so that the minute something changes – from the base rate to the energy price cap – your pages are updated, helping consumers understand what’s going on and how it affects them.

• Using your analytical skills to optimise pages: analyse pages’ metrics, from search page rankings to conversion rates, and improve their performance in collaboration with our SEO squads.

• Supporting multiplatform content: contributing to channels including email , app , social media and video.

• Working with teams across the business: from commercial and product to social and UX, you’ll be talking to different people every day. Expect to learn a lot from others and share your own expertise too.

We’d like to see from you:

• Experience in a similar rol e OR vocationally trained as a content writer or journalist, with the enthusiasm and ambition to produc e high-quality content a t pace.

• Excited by AI , with a basic u nderstanding of the opportunities and challenges it can present in content creation.

• Sharp eye for detail and accuracy – no corners cut!

• Ability to simplify jargon into clear, user-friendly guidance and insights.

• Team player who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

• Numerically savvy , confident navigating data and finding trends and truth within it.
