Job description

We’re looking for volunteers to help capture and share what’s happening across the West Lothian 50+ Network. This role involves attending groups, activities and events to create simple content that shows the impact of the Network.

Typical tasks include:

• Taking photos at groups and events
• Capturing short videos and clips for social media
• Speaking to members and gathering stories
• Supporting the creation of social media posts

No formal experience is required. We’re looking for people with an interest in photography, video or social media who are keen to get involved.

Full guidance and support will be provided, including what to capture and how content is used.

This is a flexible opportunity with no fixed hours.

Restrictions

Volunteers should:

• Be comfortable attending group activities and events.
• Have basic confidence using a smartphone or camera.
• Be able to interact respectfully with members.
