Job description

Make complex things compelling. Make important things unforgettable.

London or Leeds | Hybrid - 3 days in the office | £60,000

Some people write words. Others find the story that makes people stop, think, feel and act.

We're looking for the latter.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a naturally curious, creatively minded Content Strategist to join a fast-growing creative communications and live experience agency, where storytelling sits at the heart of everything they do.

The challenge? Taking complex client briefs, big business ambitions, multiple stakeholder perspectives and sometimes a whole lot of information, and turning them into beautifully simple, compelling stories that connect with people.

You might be a brilliant copywriter who's evolved into content strategy, a Content Lead ready for a bigger creative platform, or a strategist who loves getting right under the skin of the content and owning the words as much as the thinking.

Whatever your route in, you know a great story when you see one – and, more importantly, how to bring one to life.

THE CREATIVE PLAYGROUND

Forget doing the same thing twice. One day you could be shaping the narrative for a major leadership conference; the next, working with a CEO to bring their story to life on stage, or developing the creative direction for an organisation-wide engagement campaign.

You'll be the person who makes the content sing, the story stick and the experience mean something.

  • Big ideas, bigger stories: Naming events, creating straplines and developing the central narrative that gives an entire experience its identity.
  • Making leaders memorable: Working with CEOs and senior executives to find their story, shape their messages and turn presentations into moments that resonate.
  • Words that bring experiences to life: Creating opening film scripts, keynote narratives, session content, breakout stories and audience journeys.
  • Finding the human angle: Working with session owners and subject matter experts to unlock their thinking, simplify complexity and create compelling narratives.
  • Connecting the dots: Translating business strategy, organisational change and complex propositions into clear, engaging and meaningful communications.
  • Winning hearts and minds: Bringing creativity and strategic thinking to discovery, pitches, proposals and client presentations.

You could even find yourself defining an Employer Brand or Employee Value Proposition, helping an organisation articulate who it is, what it stands for and why its people should care.

WHAT MAKES YOU, YOU?

You're a thinker, a storyteller and a natural wordsmith. You love getting to the heart of a brief, asking the questions others haven't thought to ask and finding the idea that makes everything click.

You'll bring:

  • A strong writing and content background, perhaps starting in copywriting, journalism, editorial or creative communications before developing into a more strategic role.
  • The ability to turn complex information into simple, intelligent and compelling stories.
  • A brilliant instinct for narrative, tone of voice, messaging and audience engagement.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders, challenging thinking and bringing different perspectives together.
  • The creativity and commercial awareness to contribute to pitches, proposals and new business opportunities.
  • The versatility to move between strategic thinking, creative development and hands-on writing.

Agency experience would be fantastic, whether that's creative communications, live events, experiential, ATL or a broader integrated agency. Equally, someone with an impressive client-side background and a passion for creative storytelling could be just as interesting.

Above all, we're looking for intellectual curiosity, creative instinct, confidence and a genuine love of what words can achieve.

WHY MAKE THE MOVE?

Because this is an opportunity to do more than write great content.

You'll have the freedom to shape ideas, influence creative direction, work with fascinating clients and make a tangible contribution to experiences and communications that matter.

You'll join an ambitious, growing agency where good thinking is valued, creativity is encouraged and your voice will genuinely count.

There's plenty of scope to develop your influence as the business grows, with the opportunity to help shape the future of its content and strategy offering.
