The role:

We’re looking for a smart, versatile and proactive content specialist to join our growing team. This is a cross-functional role where you'll work closely with our data, content, marketing, and client teams to uncover trends, deliver insight-rich content, support client engagement, and contribute to the quality of our data and API offerings.

This role is perfect for a graduate or early career professional with 1-3 years experience.

We need someone who is not only analytically strong but also comfortable communicating externally, helping showcase the value of our data through clear, insightful commentary and real-world applications.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyse and interpret trends from our proprietary datasets and API feeds (e.g. commodities, currencies, energy, geopolitical signals, economic sentiment)
• Work cross-functionally to produce insightful content (e.g. reports, commentaries, client-facing briefs)
• Support client outreach and external communications by surfacing relevant, timely insights
• Assist marketing efforts with data-led storytelling for blogs, whitepapers, social media
• Collaborate with the technical/data team to QA and validate incoming data feeds and API outputs
• Help articulate real-world use cases across trading, finance, and energy sector
• Represent Permutable AI in a confident, professional manner when engaging with clients or partners
• Ensure all communications and content are clear, accurate

What we're looking for:

• A versatile analyst who’s equally comfortable with data, content creation, and external communication with 1-3 years experience
• Strong analytical mindset with experience working with data or APIs
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Confidence in client-facing scenarios or public presentations and webinars (written or verbal)
• Strong knowledge of macroeconomics, commodities, financial markets, and geopolitical trends
• Strong attention to detail and a natural curiosity for how data informs decision-making
• Understanding of code or data query languages (e.g. Python, SQL, RESTful APIs) is a bonus
• Prior experience in a fast-paced data, fintech, or research environment is desirable
• Work with cutting-edge AI and data tools to analyse the world in real time
• Gain exposure across product, marketing, and client success teams
• Be part of a fast-moving, ambitious team redefining how intelligence is delivered to markets
• Flexible work structure with hybrid arrangement out of our Waterloo based office
