With a deep understanding of the founder journey, you’ll craft authentic, relevant content that strengthens our brand voice and builds connection with our community. Your work will play a key role in how founders discover and experience Virgin StartUp.

Lead content creation and publishing across written, visual, video and audio formats – managing workflows from concept through to optimisation and delivery.
Plan and manage the content calendar, ensuring alignment with campaigns, seasonal priorities and programme activity across all founder touchpoints.
Capture, edit and produce multimedia content such as founder stories, podcast episodes, event footage and social-first videos – ensuring quality, consistency and brand fit.
Publish and distribute content across Virgin StartUp’s website, social channels, newsletters and internal platforms, maintaining a steady and strategic rhythm.
Own and grow Virgin StartUp’s social presence – developing creative, engaging posts, building community, responding to trends and tracking performance.
Build and maintain a central asset library to support content reuse and ensure easy access to high-quality creative by the wider team.
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to bring founder journeys to life and support visual and copy needs across campaigns and projects.
Track content performance across platforms, using analytics to inform editorial decisions, refine content strategies, and report on impact and engagement.
What you’ll need
Experience in a content, communications or social media role, ideally in a fast-paced or purpose-led environment.
Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to write, edit and shape compelling, founder-focused narratives.
Design and/or video production skills, with confidence creating engaging visual and multimedia content.
Proficiency with marketing tools – including CMS platforms, email software and social media scheduling tools.
A proactive, self-starting attitude – you take initiative, pay attention to detail and follow through on delivery.
Curious and insight-driven, you enjoy learning and use data to inform more relevant, effective content.
