Position: Content Populator and Customer Trainer

Reports to: Head of Digital Design

Role Overview

Are you passionate about perfectly formatted and presented content? We’re looking for an experienced Content Populator and Customer Trainer to join our close-knit digital team. In this role, you’ll work independently or as part of the larger team to populate and configure our Umbraco career websites with content supplied by clients or the wider team. From simple text and image edits to adding video, third-party scripts, and language translations, you’ll ensure every project is executed to the highest standard.

In addition, you’ll deliver engaging and personable training sessions to customers on how to use our platform. With your excellent presentation skills, you’ll provide high-quality guidance tailored to a diverse range of customer stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Content Management:

  • Receive and execute content population briefs from the operations team, including any additional languages beyond English.
  • Populate content on client UAT websites following predefined sitemaps and designs using available content blocks.
  • Identify and advise on gaps in content, such as missing or unsuitable images or text.
  • Address restrictions or limitations on staging sites and raise them with the project team.
  • Quality assure your work to ensure it meets briefs and is formatted as per creative guidelines.
  • Implement content amends following internal and client feedback.

Customer Training:

  • Deliver tailored CMS training sessions to customers, ensuring they feel confident using our platform.
  • Provide ongoing support and high-quality guidance for diverse customer stakeholders.

Collaboration:

  • Play a dynamic role within project teams comprising Digital Project Managers, Producers, Designers, and Developers.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve key milestones and deliver success.
  • Communicate effectively to eliminate uncertainty and ensure alignment.
  • From time to time, you may be required to work flexibly to accommodate our valued US-based customers, ensuring our global commitment to exceptional service.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the development team to ensure accurate implementation of analytics tools and tracking codes across digital platforms.
  • Take on other tasks as needed, with the tools and support required to succeed.

Essential And Desirable Criteria

What You’ll Need to Bring:

The Must-haves

  • Excellent presentation skills and confidence in customer-facing roles.
  • Previous content population experience, ideally within a creative or digital agency.
  • Knowledge of Content Management Systems (e.g., Umbraco, WordPress) - specific training on our platform will be provided.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Ability to assess issues and decide whether to address them directly or escalate.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite (training provided if necessary).
  • Basic understanding of SEO and web development concepts (training available).
  • Fluency in additional languages beyond English.
