The role

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Content Operations Manager to lead the planning and delivery of a major content migration project and help shape the systems and workflows that support our client’s digital content strategy. This is a pivotal role in preparing for the launch of a new organisational website and ensuring its ongoing success.

  • Salary: £50,000 p.a. + benefits
  • Notice: ideally available to start on 22nd September

As ContentOperationsManager, you will:

  • Lead the project management of content migration and priority landing pages for a new organisational website.
  • Develop and maintain a shared content plan in collaboration with the Head of Content and wider team.
  • Streamline content workflows, from creation to publication, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
  • Collaborate with editorial leads to coordinate tagging strategies and content delivery across platforms.
  • Support the implementation of the organisation’s content strategy through centralised planning.
  • Organise and manage user testing and research to inform site improvements and enhance user experience.
  • Deliver guidance and training to internal stakeholders to support content engagement and best practices.
  • Establish processes for permission clearance of images and text prior to publication.
  • Monitor and analyse website performance, applying SEO and AI search best practices to optimise content.
  • Ensure content adheres to brand tone and editorial style, and meets digital accessibility standards.
  • Champion organisational values and contribute to a collaborative team culture.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in content operations, including implementing editorial workflows and planning processes.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in both traditional and agile methodologies.

  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse performance and make informed decisions.
  • Experience in user testing and applying insights to improve content and user experience.
  • Knowledge of SEO and AI search optimisation techniques.
  • Familiarity with intellectual property rights and digital content clearance processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • A proactive, problem-solving approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.
