Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor, moderate user-generated content such as comments. Moderate publisher-generated content against preset Customer guidelines.
  2. Approval/rejection of content/comments in compliance & non-compliance with customer guidelines, respectively.
  3. Keep track, be aware of news, current affairs, especially international markets like the US.
  4. Identify gaps/gray areas in policies & guidelines based on ground truth data.
  5. Store, document edge cases, nuanced examples among moderated content to create referenceable repositories.
Skill Set Required:
  • Experience as a content moderator, social media moderator, or equivalent newsroom experience – print/digital/TV.
  • Familiarity with news & media editorial policies.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound judgment calls.
  • Degree in journalism/communication/English or similar field.
  • English expert level certifications.
