Job Title: Content Marketing Specialist (Pensions and Investment)

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Edinburgh, Alderley Edge or London

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

A newly created position is available for a Content Marketing Specialist with experience in pensions and investments-related content marketing planning and delivery. The role involves building and executing our investment content strategy to support our Brand & Marketing strategy and trading objectives.

The successful candidate will create compelling content across various formats and media, collaborate with marketing teams for deployment, and measure content effectiveness. They will also work closely with other departments, including Royal London Asset Management, to repurpose relevant content.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in content marketing, preferably within financial services.

About the role

1. Plan, develop, and deliver investment content aligned with marketing goals, using appropriate formats and media.
2. Ensure content activities support new business targets and strategic objectives, including brand building.
3. Manage day-to-day content planning and delivery, identifying themes for different audiences.
4. Utilize data and insights to test, learn, and optimize content.
5. Collaborate on cross-functional projects for major campaigns.
6. Identify and manage internal and external content support resources, including agencies and freelancers.
7. Work with other business areas to identify opportunities and develop compelling messages.

About you

1. Excellent writing and editing skills, with experience in similar roles or a journalistic background.
2. Experience creating content for various formats and audiences, including promotional and thought leadership.
3. Good knowledge of pensions and investments, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
