Content Marketing Specialist

As SMG’s Content Marketing Specialist, you will support all content and marketing output with a focus on brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. This includes strategies for blogs, reports, webinars, direct-mail marketing communications, and social media support.

What we need in this role

A wordsmith, content powerhouse, and analytical thinker with industry trend awareness. You are a marketing all-rounder focused on content creation, including video, sharp copy, webinars, and podcasts. You distribute, monitor, and optimize content using data. With a background in marketing or communications, you bring hands-on experience and a creative, disruptive mindset.

  • Exceptional copywriting skills
  • Expertise in video editing, graphic design, and short-form content creation
  • Proven experience in digital and content marketing, distribution, and social media advertising
  • University degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of social media trends, KPIs, and content strategies
  • Hands-on experience with content management
  • Ability to tailor messaging for different social media platforms
  • Strong analytical and multitasking abilities
What you’ll need to succeed
  • Develop and lead a monthly webinar program to drive brand awareness and lead generation, collaborating with industry experts, managing the full lifecycle from guest sourcing to post-event analysis
  • Build and execute a monthly podcast strategy, from guest sourcing to promotion and performance analysis
  • Create industry-leading blogs, videos, reports, and case studies, collaborating with the Social Media Manager to produce engaging video content
  • Support thought leadership through PR content, infographics, and social media assets, applying SEO best practices
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize content distribution and engagement, conduct competitor analysis, and grow newsletter sign-ups, web traffic, and social media interactions
